BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 23. Uzbekistan plans to harvest 111,900 tons of pears in 2022, Trend reports via the Uzbek Ministry of Agriculture.
Out of this, farms and agricultural enterprises of the country will harvest 52,200 tons of crops from 4,700 hectares of land, and 59,700 tons of pears will be harvested from 3,500 hectares of household plots.
All categories of farms in the country have pear orchards on a total area of 8,200 hectares. In 2022, about 1,000 hectares of new pear orchards will be planted.
