BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 23. Uzbekistan’s Uzbekneftegaz JSC studied the experience of Azerbaijan’s SOCAR in hydrocarbon production,Trend reports via the Uzbek company.
Recently, Uzbekneftegaz specialists visited SOCAR facilities to exchange experience in the application of new well workover technologies and study the experience of the Azerbaijani company in the field of project implementation for increase of hydrocarbon production on the terms of risk service contract (RSC).
This visit was carried out in accordance with the roadmap dated July 5, 2022, developed in order to expand cooperation in the oil and gas sector between Uzbekneftegaz JSC and SOCAR.
As a result of the visit, delegation of Uzbekneftegaz considered possibility to invite SOCAR to participate in competitive bidding for provision of services to increase hydrocarbon production at 25 fields in Uzbekistan.
