BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 29. Uzbekistan's financial sector index at the Uzbek Republican Stock Exchange reached 242.8 points on December 29, decreasing by 2.81 points from December 28, Trend reports via the Exchange.
The figure for the industrial sector has increased, settling at 3,317.05 points – an increase of 61.87 points compared to the December 28 figure (3,255 18 points).
The figure for the construction sector reached 4,148.91 points on December 29 from 4,179.63 points on December 28.
The trade sector index reached 12,905.5 points on December 29, decreasing by 24.84 points compared to the December 28 figure (12,930.3 points).
Uzbekistan's "Toshkent" republican stock exchange was formed in 1994 to help further expand economic reforms in the country and protect private property and business development.
