BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 2. Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover with CIS countries amounted to $1.36 billion in January 2023, which is an increase of 20 percent, compared to the figure for January 2022 ($1.13 billion), Trend reports via the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
During the reporting period, Uzbek exports of goods and services to the CIS countries amounted to $479,800 million, while imports amounted to $881,800 million.

The largest volume of Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover with the CIS countries was recorded with Russia (50.6 percent), Kazakhstan (24.5 percent), and Kyrgyzstan (4.5 percent).
Meanwhile, in January 2023, Uzbekistan’s trade turnover amounted to $5.04 billion, increasing by 42 percent, compared to the first month of 2022 ($3.5 billion). Export from Uzbekistan in January 2023 amounted to about $2.08 billion, while imports to Uzbekistan - were $2.9 billion.
