BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 15. The large enterprises of Uzbekistan have produced some 127,300 tons of oil during the first two months of 2023, Trend reports via Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
From January through February 2023, the country’s output of oil has slightly up by 7.6 percent, compared to what was produced during the same period in 2022 (118,300 tons).
In the reporting period, Uzbekistan overall manufactured products worth 72.8 trillion soums ($6.3 billion), which is an increase of 9.1 percent, compared to the figure for the first two months in 2022 (66.7 trillion soums or $5.8 billion).
Besides oil, the country’s large enterprises produced some 110,700 tons of diesel fuel, some 263,900 tons of gasoline, some 209,500 tons of gas condensate, as well as trucks (350), automobile engines (21,402), buses (114), tractors (7), lead batteries (190,800), etc.
In 2022, Uzbekistan’s output of oil increased by 1.7 percent and reached 787,800 tons over 774,000 tons in 2021.
At the same time, the country’s large enterprises in 2022 manufactured industrial products worth 551.1 trillion soums ($48.4 billion), which is 5.2 percent more than what was produced during the reporting period in 2021.
