TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, July 8. Uzbekistan has decided to create an IT cluster in the Karakul district of the Bukhara region, Trend reports.
The Karakul IT cluster will train specialists in the fields of information and communication technologies and the export of IT services.
The cluster will include a university with modern infrastructure, laboratories, and research centers, a center for exporting remote IT services, and an educational laboratories and an incubation center for the development of startup projects.
By December 31, 2023, an administrative building, an educational laboratory, and educational facilities for 5,600 seats will be constructed. By September 1, 2024, a student dormitory for 1,300 students, a 15-room hotel, a 100-seat incubation center, a 200-seat center for exporting remote IT services, a cafeteria, and open and indoor sports facilities are scheduled to be opened.
