TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, August 21. Uzbekistan’s natural gas exports to China from January through July 2023 amounted to $295.3 million, Trend reports.
According to China's General Customs Administration, Uzbekistan reduced its gas deliveries to China by 41.6 period compared to the same period in 2022.
Uzbekistan has become the fifth major gas supplier to China, following Turkmenistan, Russia, Myanmar, and Kazakhstan.
Meanwhile, Uzbekneftegaz, the largest oil and gas producer of Uzbekistan, and its enterprises have over-fulfilled the export plan by 16.2 percent over the first quarter of the current year.
In the reporting period, the company planned to export products and services worth $75.3 million, while the export figure was brought up to $87.5 million.
