TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, January 19. Uzbekistan's Agency for Strategic Reforms (ASR) is considering the creation of a Strategic Management Office, Trend reports.
This was discussed during a meeting between the Agency for Strategic Reforms and representatives of Boston Consulting Group (BCG), a leading consulting company, to discuss the implementation of agreements reached during the visit of Uzbekistan's president to the US.
The meeting, which was attended by ASR Director, Deputy Director, ASR Team Leader, as well as Managing Director and Partner, Head of Central Asia and Caspian Region of BCG Rza Nuriyev and BCG representative Igor Alexeev, discussed aspects of comprehensive development of Uzbekistan.
BCG consultants noted that following the meetings, a practical action plan was developed and approved to implement the agreements reached during the Uzbek president's visit to the US, including the program of initiatives of Boston Consulting Group.
Taking into account the importance of these initiatives for the economic development of Uzbekistan, the Agency for Strategic Reforms revealed its plans for identifying key sectors for economic growth, supporting state banks in their transformation, developing a strategy for managing problem loans, improving energy efficiency, implementing the Ustyurt Deep Gas Project, and developing a plan for implementing a Digital Twin of Tashkent with the involvement of experts.
The Agency for Strategic Reforms expects productive interaction with BCG and the long-term impact of these activities on Uzbekistan's economic image.
