TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, May 22. Uzbekistan’s coal, coke, and briquette trade turnover amounted to $63.7 million from January through April 2024, Trend reports.
According to the data from Uzbekistan’s Statistics Agency, this figure is 16.4 percent higher compared to the same period last year ($54.7 million in January–April 2023).
The exports of coal, coke, and briquettes reached $400,000 from January through April 2024.
The country’s imports of coal, coke, and briquettes totaled $63.3 million during this period. The volume of imports shows 16.1 percent growth over the past year ($54.7 million in January–April 2023).
Meanwhile, the country's total trade turnover volume of mineral fuels, lubricating oils, and similar materials amounted to $1.5 billion from January through April 2024. This figure is 50 percent more year-on-year ($1 billion in January–April 2023).
Uzbekistan's exports of mineral fuels, lubricating oils, and similar materials reached $275.8 million, and imports totaled $1.3 billion from January through April 2024.
