Azerbaijan, Baku, 9 July / Trend corr T.Jafarov/ " Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad stated he is ready for TV debates with United States' presidential contenders. "Iranian people support discussions and we are ready for TV debates with US presidential contenders," he said 8 July at a press conference within the sixth Summit of the Eight Islamic Developing Countries (D8) in Malaysia," Iran's news agency IRNA reported.
Ahmadinejad said that during his last year visit to the United States he stated his readiness to hold TV debates with Mr. Bush at UN about global issues.
