4,700 tons of agricultural products have been exported to the global markets from the Iranian city of Bushehr in the first three months of Iranian calendar year (starting March 22).
Director of Bushehr Agricultural Jihad Organization Nozar Monfared said on Tuesday that the main export items include dates, honey, shrimps, fish, cattle and palm offshoots which are exported to Persian Gulf states, Central Asia, and Europe.
He also pointed out some ways to improve the quantity and quality of exports such as eradicating export hindrances, stabilizing the export laws, utilizing proper marketing methods, packaging the products to meet the customers' taste and proper support by government officials.
