Tehran court will review the case against former Iranian President Hashemi Rafsanjani's children, FARS news agency quoted Ibrahim Raisi, first deputy head of the Iranian judicial system, as saying.

According to Raisi, those who think that cases of people close to high-ranking officials will not be reviewed, are mistaken.

Earlier, former Iranian President Hashemi Rafsanjani's children Mehdi Hashemi and Faiza khanum Hashemi were accused by Ahmadinejad's supporters of inciting unrest in the country.

Wide-ranging actions were held to protest the results of presidential elections held in Iran in June 2009. Thousands of demonstrators were arrested and dozens killed. Also, two people were executed last week.

Hashemi Rafsanjani's daughter, Faiza, was twice arrested. Hashemi is in Britain.
