Two transgenic goats were bred in Iranian research center Royan of Isfahan University with TPA, the official website of the Iranian television IRINN reported.
One animal died a week after birth, head of the research center Hamid Ghurabi said.
TPA is recombinant tissue plasminogen activator. It is a thrombolytic substance, which is used in the treatment of diseases associated with thrombosis (myocardial infarction, ischemic stroke).
