Western policies toward Iran is not honest
"The Western states are not honest" in their policy towards Iran, Larijani told reporters upon his arrival in this southwestern provincial capital city, ILNA reported.
Larijani made the remarks in this southwestern province while commenting on the statement of the G8 meeting about Iran.
"They adopt the resolution against Iran on one hand, and on the other hand, propose to conduct negotiations. Therefore, neither their resolutions nor their proposals are made out of honesty," Larijani stated.
He said that the West was pursuing a "policy of sabotaging Iranians' way to progress."
The G8 statement made it clear that they had no correct impression about Iran's nuclear issue and thought they could change Iran's decision over its peaceful nuclear activities, the speaker added.
He suggested the Western states to try to resolve Iran's nuclear issue based on regulations of the International Atomic Energy Agency upon which Iran is currently pursuing its peaceful nuclear program.
