Four Iranian Kurds have been arrested on terrorism charges, Iran's Intelligence Ministry said in a statement Thursday.
The four were allegedly members of the Kurdish Komala group affiliated to the Party of Free Life of Kurdistan and received their orders from a commander of the group named Jalil Fattahi, who is based in Britain, DPA reported.
The four, apparently operating from the Kurdish city of Sulaymaniyah in northern Iraq, have been charged with several assassinations carried out in Iran in recent years.
The Intelligence Ministry also accused London of not only being involved in espionage activities against Iran but also funding and supporting terrorist groups.
