Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast on Saturday strongly condemned bomb attack during a New Year's service at the al-Qiddissin (Saints) Church in the northern port city of Alexandria, IRNA reported.
According to the Information and Press Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mehmanparast condemned the terrorist move which claimed lives of scores of innocent people and expressed his condolences to the Egyptian government and nation.
Some 21 civilians were killed and 30 others injured in the attack which took place during a New Year's service at the al-Qiddissin (Saints) Church in the northern port city of Alexandria on Friday night.
