Roughly 180 Iranian MPs called for to sentence and execute opposition leaders - Mir Hussein Moussavi and Mehdi Karroubi. MPs accuse them of actions against national security, jamejamonline.ir. reported.

Yesterday, Iran's Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani expressed his attitude to the opposition rally. He called for to establish a committee of representatives of various parliamentary committees to study methods to combat the instigators of disorder. Larijani charged the heads of the commissions to approve the committee staff and prepare a report on yesterday's events.

Yesterday, the opposition attempted to hold rallies in Tehran and other cities of Iran in support of the peoples of Egypt and Tunisia.

The protesters and police clashed. Ahmad Reza Radan, Deputy Commander of the Iranian police said that nine policemen were injured. As a result of clashes, one person died, several people were injured. The state of one of the injured people was hard. Iranian police fired tear gas and paintballs at protesters.
