Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi heading a high-ranking delegation departed for Switzerland to attend the meeting of Human Rights Council and UN's disarmament conference in Geneva city, IRNA reported.
Salehi is scheduled to attend two separate meetings of Human rights Council and UN's disarmament conference on Monday and Tuesday.
Foreign Ministry's director general for International relations and lawmaker Mohammad Karamirad accompany Salehi during his visit to Switzerland.
A total of 65 countries, including Iran, US, Britain, Brazil and Turkey are members of the UN's disarmament conference.
The main topics of UN's disarmament conference include preventing occurrence of nuclear wars, preventing arms race in space, agreement of the non-nuclear countries for prevention of their being threatened by countries possessing nuclear weapons and preventing production of weapons of mass destruction.
