Iranian Foreign Minister Ali-Akbar Salehi said Sunday that Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran Saeed Jalili has sent a new letter to the European Foreign Policy Chief, Catherine Ashton.
Addressing a joint press conference with Russian Energy Minister Sergei Shmatko in Tehran, Salehi said the letter was sent a few days ago, IRNA reported.
He said the letter notes that Iran has always been ready for talks on common points to forge understanding.
