Iran's domestic manufacturers and exporters will be helped by a government plan to protect them from fluctuations in foreign currency exchange rates, the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reported the minister of economy as saying.
Setting the dollar's official exchange rate at 12,260 rials already supports manufacturers, said Seyed Shamseddin Hosseini on a visit to Iran's Kurdistan Province.
USD rate in Iran's open market is above 19,000 rials.
