Iran's mercantile exchange broke its record for a daily trade on Sunday, Shana news agency reported.
On Sunday 287 tons of industrial, agricultural and petrochemical goods worth nearly $300 million were traded at the exchange.
Trade was highest for polymers among petroleum and petrochemical products while methanol, caustics and acids were the most highly traded chemicals.
Trade for domestic rice was highest in agriculture.
