Iran finally achieves the technological knowhow to redirect enemy missile, MNA quoted the commander of the Khatam-ol-Anbiya air base.

"Any missile, before doing any damage to the holy body of the Islamic Republic of Iran, is either destroyed or redirected and will hit a target which we determine," Brigadier General Farzad Ismaili told the Fars News Agency in an interview published on Monday.

He added, "This is the capability of the electronic warfare in which it is us who program enemy missile."

Ismaili also added the air defense equipment of the Khatam-ol-Anbiya air base is "more capable of hundreds of anti-missile shields".

Colonel Moharram Gholizadeh announced September last year that Iran is designing an anti-missile system that would be able to change the direction of an incoming enemy's missile. Gholizadeh also said the system is capable of guiding the enemy missile and making it hit a different target.
