The Iranian capacity to store crude oil will increase by 4 million barrels in the coming months.

Ahmad Ghalebani, Managing Director of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) visited the four one million barrel storage tanks on Persian Gulf's Kharg Island today, Shana news agency reports.

Ghalebani said work on the storage facility will speed up with the NIOC's help. Physical work on the facility is more than half (53 per cent) finished. Hydrostatic testing will be done on the first tank
this fall and every month after the first test, a new one will be conducted until the facility is fully operational.
