On Sunday the Presiding Board of Iranian Parliament (Majlis) confirmed the motion to question President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, undersigned by 77 MPs, the Mehr News Agency reported.
On October 23, MPs decided to summon Ahmadinejad to parliament to answer questions on the disarray in the foreign currency market and the importation of wheat and cars.
Turbulence in the foreign exchange market, problems gripping the industrial sector, mismanagement in the mining sector, and also problems facing poultry and egg production are among the major reasons behind the impeachment moves.
