Iran condemns terrorist acts against Iranian pilgrims in Iraq
Foreign Ministry Spokesman strongly condemned terrorist acts against Iranian pilgrims in Iraq, which left a number of people killed or wounded, IRNA reported.
According to the report of Foreign Ministry Media Department, Seyed Abbas Araqchi, by warning against current conspiracy to create discord between religious sects in Islamic world, said extensive attacks against innocent Iranian pilgrims in Iraq is, undoubtedly, part of designed plans in the framework of this dangerous conspiracy.
Reminding responsibility of the Iraqi government to provide security of pilgrims, Araqchi asked for Baghdadˈs determination to protect Iranian pilgrims.
He also condoled with victimsˈ families and wished health and recovery for the injured pilgrims.
