Iran-Oman trade transactions reached $250 million during the past Iranian calendar year, ended March 20, 2013, director of Iran Trade Promotion Organization for Persian Gulf Farzad Piltan said, IRNA reported.

Piltan made the remarks on the sideline of a meeting held between Iranian and Omani businessmen in Arvand Free Zone in the southwestern province of Khuzestan.

Expressing his satisfaction with the level of Iran-Oman trade ties, he urged economic activists and trade companies to make efforts to enhance mutual cooperation between the two nations.

Piltan further noted that Iran enjoys high capacities in various fields of mining, oil and gas industry.
