An explosion occurred in Iran, as 28 people got injured, IRNA news agency reported.
According to preliminary report, a hand grenade has exploded in Iran's western city of Ilam this morning. The blast reportedly happened in a local prison.
The report said that before the execution of one of the prisoners, his relatives gathered in front of the prison and threw a hand grenade towards the prison.
The relatives of the person reportedly threw another hand grenade, yet the police managed to disarm it before another explosion.
The head of Iran's jails organization, Gholam Hussein Esmaili told Fars news agency that the building of the jail wasn't damaged due to blast.
He also said that none of the prisoners were hurt, as for those 26 injured people, they were the members of Iranian police.
