The US government has no right to solve its problems at Iran's expense, Iranian deputy foreign minister and top nuclear negotiator, Abbas Araqchi said, Fars news agency reported on Dec. 18.

Araqchi's message was published on his official Twitter account.

Referring the Iran-West nuclear deal he went on to note that, The United States' government has problems with the Congress as well as its regional allies and had to convince them regarding the nuclear agreement with Iran.

On November 24, Iran and the P5+1 reached a deal in Geneva after several days of intensive negotiations. With the agreement, Iran has agreed to curb some nuclear activities for six months in return for sanctions relief.

Commenting on his negotiations with the European Union foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton, Araqchi said that the EU foreign policy chief assured him that the technical-level nuclear talks would be resumed in Vienna soon.

Iran pulled out of technical-level nuclear talks with six world powers On Dec. 13 to protest the expansion of a U.S. blacklist of companies and individuals allegedly supporting Iran's nuclear program. Tehran said the U.S. move violates the spirit of last month's groundbreaking agreement on Iran's nuclear development.

The U.S. and its Western allies suspect Iran of developing a nuclear weapon - something that Iran denies.

The Islamic Republic has on numerous occasions stated that it does not seek to develop nuclear weapons, using nuclear energy for medical research instead.
