BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 11. Iran's non-oil exports to Türkiye decreased by 56.1 percent in value and 66.6 percent in weight during the 1st month of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through April 20, 2024) compared to the same month of last year (from March 21 through April 20, 2023), the statistics of Iran's Customs Administration said, Trend reports.
According to the statistics, Iran's non-oil exports to Türkiye in the first month of the current Iranian year amounted to 461,000 tons worth $241 million.
The statistics indicate that Iran exported 1.38 million tons of non-oil products worth $550 million to Türkiye during the same month of last year.
Furthermore, the statistics note that Iran mainly exported agricultural and food products, petrochemical products, industrial and mining products, etc. to Türkiye.
However, Iran exported 9.7 million tons of non-oil products worth $3.17 billion in the first month of the current Iranian year. Iran's exports of non-oil products decreased by 16.9 percent in value terms and 9.66 percent in weight terms compared to the same month of last year.
To note, Iran exported 7.77 million tons of non-oil products worth about $4.16 billion to Türkiye in the last Iranian year (from March 21, 2023, through March 19, 2024). Iran's exports of non-oil products to Türkiye decreased by 44.2 percent in value and 46.9 percent in weight compared to the previous year (from March 21, 2022, through March 20, 2023).
