BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 12. Iran's export of non-oil products to Turkmenistan amounted to about 102,000 tons worth $26.1 million for the first month of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through April 19, 2024), the statistics of Iran's Customs Administration said, Trend reports.
According to statistics, Iran's export of non-oil products to Turkmenistan decreased by 3.05 percent in value and increased by 15.3 percent in weight compared to the same month last year.
Furthermore, statistics show that Iran's non-oil exports to Turkmenistan amounted to 88,200 tons worth $26.9 million in the first month of last year.
The data also states that products related to agriculture and food, industry, transformers, water conditioners, petrochemicals, etc. were exported.
Moreover, it should be noted that during the last Iranian year (from March 21, 2023, through March 19, 2024), Iran's exports of non-oil products to Turkmenistan amounted to about 1.36 million tons worth more than $445 million. Iran's non-oil exports to Turkmenistan decreased by 3.12 percent in value and increased by 6.47 percent in weight compared to the previous year.
To note, Iran exported 9.7 million tons of non-oil products worth $3.17 billion for the first month of the current Iranian year. Iran's non-oil exports decreased by 16.9 percent in value and 9.66 percent in weight compared to the same month of last year.
