Exports of Iran's Pardis petrochemical company grow

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 2. The export of products of Iranian Pardis Petrochemical Company increased by 6.58 percent during the first 3 months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through June 20, 2024) compared to the same period of last year (from March 21 through June 21, 2023), the statement of Iran's Pardis Petrochemical Company said, Trend reports.

The company exported 749,000 tons of products in 3 months. However, in the same period last year, the company's product exports amounted to 703,000 tons.

Furthermore, the company exported about 698,000 tons of urea during the 3 months. Compared to the same period last year, this figure increased by 13 percent. During the same period last year, the company's urea exports amounted to about 616,000 tons.

Meanwhile, the company exported 51,700 tons of ammonia over 3 months. This is 41 percent less compared to the same period last year. Thus, in the same period last year, the company's ammonia exports amounted to 87,600 tons.

However, note that Iran's Pardis Petrochemical Company produces more than 2.04 million tons of ammonia and more than 3.22 million tons of urea annually.

The Pardis Petrochemical Company's 8,000 shares are owned by Qadir Investment Company, 1.23 million by Sepahan Hamun Management Services Company, 40.3 million by Sepahan Hamun Investment Company, 894 million by Petrochemical Trading Company, 4.12 billion by Parsian Oil and Gas Company and the rest is owned by other shareholders.
