Kuwait calls for peaceful end to Iran's nuclear stand off

(IRNA) - Speaker of Kuwait's Majlis Al-Umma (National Assembly) Jasem Al-Kharafi said here Sunday that Iran's nuclear stand off should be resolved through peaceful means.

Speaking to reporters, he said choosing any other non-political solution for Iran's nuclear dossier would be detrimental, reports Trend.

Interfering in the country's affairs or adopting a military solution would endanger regional and global security and stability, he said.

Negotiations and political solutions would be the best choice to resolve Iran's nuclear stand off, he underlined.

"If political means could not put an end to the country's nuclear issue, the region cannot bear its destructive consequences," he pointed out.

Any probable and irresponsible move would leave negative impacts which would engulf the whole region, he concluded.
