(www.irna.ir) вЂ" Pakistani President General Pervez Musharraf begins a visit to Iran and Turkey today to seek a fair and just solution to the Palestine issue, state-run radio reported.

The president will also exchange views with the leadership of the two countries on Iraq and other challenges confronting the Muslim world, Radio Pakistan reported.

Officials said that President Musharraf will hold talks with his Iranian counterpart, Mahmoud Ahmedinejad, in Tehran and will discuss with him ways to bring peace to the Middle East, reports Trend.

President Musharraf last month visited Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Syria and United Arab Emirates as part of what Pakistan says the president's "peace initiative" in the Middle East.

The president, ahead of his visit to Arab countries, had said that he had some proposals to discuss with their leaders aimed at solving the crisis in the Middle East.

He had not disclosed the proposals.
