Iran has not yet received the 5th part of its $2.8 billion worth of blocked assets, which was agreed upon following the extended nuclear deal with P5+1 group, Iran's ISNA news agency reported Nov. 22.

The last 6th part worth of $400 million is scheduled to be transferred to Iran on Nov. 23, however the country has not yet received the 5th part, worth of $500 million.

Thus far, Iran has received four parts of its assets totaling $1.9 billion, according to the country's Central Bank.

Some $4.2 billion of Iran's blocked assets were already released during a six-month period, due to an interim nuclear agreement between Iran and P5+1(the US, UK, France, Russia, China plus Germany).

The Islamic Republic and P5+1 are negotiating to find a way to reach a comprehensive nuclear accord until Nov.24.

Last November, the two sides clinched an interim nuclear accord, which took effect on Jan. 20 and expired six months later. However, the parties agreed to extend their talks until Nov. 24 as they remained divided on a number of key issues.
