Iran’s Shazand Refinery propylene to resume energy market January 2

The Iranian Shazand Refinery's propylene will be available on the country's energy market on January 2.

For the said day, Zagros Petrochemicals methanol, Tehran Oil Refinery's light naphtha, and Kermanshah Refinery's solvent 402 will also be offered in the domestic derivatives market, Securities and Exchange News agency reported January 1.

The report added that Abadan Oil Refinery's liquid gas and Isfahan Refinery's solvent 402 will be offered in the international section.

The market's domestic section included heavy cutting equipment, hexane, heavy naphtha, industrial liquid gas, butane, and propane on the last working day of the Iranian-calendar week on December 30.

Accordingly, the weight of goods exchanged in the market added by surplus offers reached 5.143 thousand metric tons, worth 65.458 billion rials ($2.16 million for each 30,303 rials making one USD) for the day.

Naphtha occupied the place for the greatest weight and value with over five thousand metric tons at 55 billion rials.
