Tehran, Iran, February 24

Iran has started pilot production at Yadavaran Joint oil field, director of Yadavaran development project Hadi Nazarpour said.
He said the inauguration of the field in near future will open way for a daily output of 85 thousand barrels of crude, SHANA news agency reported February 24.
The pilot production aims at 21 days of operation without problems. 70 thousand barrels of the daily output will be light oil and the remaining 15 thousand will be heavy oil.
Iran and Iraq share Yadavaran. Iran's part is planned to be developed in three phases. However, early production has been carried out as well, adding up to 50 million barrels so far.
The second and third phases of the development plan are expected to facilitate the production of 180 and 300 thousand barrels a day respectively.
The field's in-situ oil has been estimated at 31 billion barrels.
