An economic forum dubbed Showcase Iran 2016 was opened in London on Nov. 28 to promote Iran’s investment opportunities, IRNA news agency reported.
The two-day event is co-organized by Frontier Exchange and the Intelligent Persians Corporation with contribution of Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines & Agriculture (TCCIMA) and the UK Department for International Trade (DIT).
Hamid Badieinejad, Iran’s ambassadors to the UK and Hassan Forouzanfar, a board member of the TCCIMA as well as representatives of British financial and legal firms are among the speakers of the forum.
Forouzanfar said that the forum aims to attract finance and investment to developmental projects of Iran.
Following the Nov. 28 session, private sector activists of Iran and Britain will hold mutual negotiations on the second day of the event, he added.
