The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for Jan. 9:
Export floor: Offers 110,000 tons of iron ore, 80,300 tons of bitumen, 1,000 tons of lube cut oil, 300 tons of insulation and 1,000 tons of granulated sulphur.
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 38,404 tons of polymers, 63,000 tons of bitumen, 45,490 tons of vacuum bottom feed stock, 7,000 tons of lube cut oil, 2,500 tons of slack wax and 1,000 tons of sulphur.
Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 30,000 tons of slab type C and 550 tons of rebar basket as well as 2,000 tons of aluminium billet and ingot.
Agriculture floor: Offers 106,000 day-old chickens, 15,600 tons of wheat, 5,600 tons of sugar, 600 tons of sunflower oil, 600 tons of soybean oil, 800 tons of canola oil, 1,055 tons of corn and 170 tons of lentil.
Furthermore, the side market of IME will offer 600 tons of palm oil from Malaysia and 20 tons of lactic butter from Germany and Belgium as well as 1,000 tons of hot rolled steel from Russia.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets.
There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
