The main index of the Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) gained 596.4 points or 0.6 percent to end the trades at 99224.8 on Jan. 23.
According to the TSE official website, about 1.2 billion shares, valued at $64.7 million (2.9 trillion rials converted to US dollar according to free market rates) were traded for the day.
The Price Index gained 188.56 points or 0.6 percent, to post 31699.5.
The First Market grew by 578.32 points or 0.82 percent, to post 7071.9.
The Second Market added 456.81 points or 0.22 percent, to post 210141.8.
The Industry Index was up 615.7 points or 0.71 percent, to post 87948.2.
TSE 30 Index gained 35.21 points or 0.81 percent, to close at 4370.3.
TSE 50 Index increased 20.01 points or 0.49 percent, to end at 4132.2.
