Performance of Iran’s gold & currency markets on Feb. 3

Gold coin was traded in Iran at 15,095,000 rials (about $330.2 at the free market rates) on Feb. 3.

According to data on the website of the Tehran Gold and Jewelry Union, one gram of the 18-karat gold was priced at 1,470,840 rials (about $32.1), indicating a growth of 0.89 percent compared to the preceding day.

According to the country’s real-time data sharing system, SANA, euro valued 57,413 rials in the free market, adding 1.48 percent. The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) put the official rate of euro at 46,030 rials.

The USD was quoted at 45,703 rials in the free market growing 0.22 percent compared to the preceding day. The CBI put the official rate for the greenback at 36,949 rials.
