The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for Feb. 13:
Export floor: Offers 8,460 tons of bitumen, 1,000 tons of lube cut oil and 100 tons of sulphur.
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 49,830 tons of polymers including polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, PVC and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene as well as 2,500 tons of slap wax, 63,500 tons of bitumen, 8,000 tons of vacuum bottom feed stock, 3,000 tons of lube cut oil and 4,000 tons of sulphur.
Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 5,000 tons of mixed I-beam basket and 35,000 tons of mixed basket as well as 5,000 tons of rebar basket from Esfahan Steel Co.
Agriculture floor: Offers 190,000 day-oil chicks, 28,850 tons of wheat, 5,750 tons of sugar, 2,000 tons of crude vegetable oil, 170 tons of large lentil and 2,167 tons of maize within the framework of supportive price plan.
Furthermore, the side market of IME offers 100 tons of ferrosilicon, 100 tons of lactic butter from Germany and Belgium and 550 tons of frozen meat.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets.
There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
