Iran has found new oil customers, Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Eshaq Jahangiri said at the event organized in Tehran on the occasion of the International Day of Standardization.
“We get money through oil export by our own methods,” he said.
“The export of oil and other products will increase,” Jahangiri said. “At the same time, citizens are more interested in local products. “Export volumes of the country’s non-oil goods have also increased.”
Oil prices remain at four-year highs on rising doubts about the capability of Saudi Arabia and other producers to substitute Iran’s crude after the US imposes new sanctions on the country on November 4.
