Since September 23, the volume of water in Iran's reservoirs has reached 19.30 billion cubic meters, Fars News Agency reported.
Compared with the same period last year, this figure is 14 percent lower. There is a 69 percent decrease in Tehran's five water reservoirs.
The volume of water entering the country's reservoirs has so far been 480 million cubic meters. This is a 27 percent decline compared to the last year's figures.
On the other hand, the volume of water discharged from these reservoirs is 26 percent less than in the previous year.
Presently, the water volume in the five reservoirs of Tehran province is 589 million cubic meters.
