Over 5 tons of hearing aids from eight countries were imported to Iran during the first five months of the current year (Iranian year started March 21, 2018), according to statistics on Iran’s foreign trade, the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration said in a message.
As much as $8.31 million were spent on these hearing aids, according to the statistics. The exporter countries are: Russia, Germany, China, Switzerland, Singapore, Denmark, the UK and Turkey.
The main exporting countries to Iran included Denmark, which exported 2,681 kg of hearing aids worth $2.211 million and Switzerland, which exported 1,518 kg of hearing aids worth $1.289 million.
