Oil pipeline from Iran's Khesht field to Goureh terminal near commissioning

The work to lay a pipeline for transportation of oil from the Khesht oil field to the Goureh oil terminal in Iran is already nearing completion, the National Iranian Oil Company said in a statement.

Only 2 kilometers of the pipeline are left to be laid, the message says.

After completion of the work, oil production will be launched at the Khesht oil field, SHANA reported.

The crude production at Khesht will be launched in the forthcoming months and the daily production will be brought up to 30 barrels.

The Khesht oil field is situated in a territory between Kazeroun and Borazjan cities of Konar Takhteh Region of Fars Province in Iran. The first well at this field was drilled in 1992.
