The dry dates produced in Rigan district of Iran’s Kerman Province are exported to 10 countries, governor of Rigan district Amin Baqiri said in an interview with IRNA.
Baqiri said that during this Iranian year (started on March 21, 2018) dates production has dropped by 30 percent in Rigan. Last Iranian year, the dates produced in Rigan district were exported to seven countries and this Iranian year the dates will be exported to 10 countries.
More than 45,000 tons of dates are produced and supplied to the market in Rigan district annually.
