Iran announces volume of goods exported from Qazvin province

In the first nine months of this Iranian year (started on March 21, 2018), 1.025 billion tons of products were exported from Iran’s Qazvin province, Chairman of the Iranian Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Qazvin province Ali Purzahmet said.

Moreover, revenues worth $1.084 billion were obtained as a result of the export of goods, Purzahmet added, Trend reports referring to Mehr news agency.

He added that 590,000 tons of industrial and agricultural products worth $570 million were exported by 205 exporting enterprises.

Thus, 435,000 tons of polymers, food, detergents, glass, copper wires, tile and ceramics, iron, steel materials and chemicals worth $514 million have been exported from Qazvin province by exporting companies, Purzahmet said.

The products are mainly exported from the province to Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, the United Arab Emirates, Syria, the Netherlands and Oman, he said.

Iran exported 75,000 tons of products worth $16 million from Qazvin province to Syria during the reporting period.

Purzahmet said that steel pipes and profiles, water cranes, medicines, dried milk, tile, ceramics and automotive equipment were exported to Syria.
