Iran discloses revenues not returned to country's economy

The exporters who did not have experience in the export of goods before, did not return $4.7 billion out of $5.4 billion obtained from export to the country's economy last Iranian year (started on March 21, 2018), Mohammad Reza Modudi, head of Iran's Trade Promotion Organization, said.

Some 6,447 exporters exported the products last Iranian year, Modudi added, Trend reports referring to Fars News Agency.

Modudi added that Iran's foreign exchange policy should be reformed to warn exporters who do not return currency obtained from export to the country’s economy.

"The names of the exporters who do not return the currency obtained from export to the country's economy are included in the list of the justice system, he said.

Director general of Iran's Central Bank AbdulnasserHemmati has recently stated that 150 companies and individuals exported the goods worth $4 billion, and did not return even $1 to the country's economy. The names of these companies and individuals were included in the list of the judicial system.
