In an operation carried out in Iran’s Bushehr province, an attempt of smuggling 6.78 million liters of fuel oil was prevented, the Public Relations Department of the Security Bureau of the province announced, Trend reports via ISNA.
The report says that smugglers have been detained at the Bushehr customs when trying to smuggle the fuel oil from Iran under the name of heavy hydrocarbons.
As reported, two oil companies transported 3.64 million liters of fuel oil and 3.13 million liters of fuel oil respectively to the port warehouses in Bushehr province under the guise of heavy hydrocarbons.
“The smugglers were trying to send this cargo to one of the neighboring countries,” the report said.
