Since the beginning of this Iranian year (March 21, 2019), 82 industrial facilities have been commissioned in Iran’s East Azerbaijan province, said Morteza Niroumand, managing director of East Azerbaijan Industrial Parks Company, Trend reports with reference to the company’s website.
Niroumand noted that a total of 3.4 trillion rials (about $82.4 million) have been invested in these facilities.
The managing director said that more than 1,303 people have been employed with the commissioning of the facilities.
Niroumand added that 72 hectares of land have been transferred to owners under 193 new contracts in the province’s industrial parks during nine months (March 21-Dec. 21).
The company also issued licenses for the creation of 240 industrial facilities in the mentioned period, the managing director said.
